Tigers edge Mucurapo

NATIONAL champions St Anthony’s kept ahead of the pack in the North Zone of the  British Gas Secondary Schools Football League with a 2-1 victory over Mucurapo yesterday. East Zone leaders Arima comfortabaly whipped St. George’s College 5-2, while Central Zone leaders Carapichaima beat Claxton Bay 3-1 and in Tobago, Scarborough downed Elizabeth’s 3-1.
