Signal Hill whip Scarborough 2-0

DENZIL JAMES netted a double as Signal Hill whipped defending zonal princes Scarborough in today’s feature match of the British Gas Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Tobago Zone.

James’ feat saw Signal Hill taking top spot with ten points from four matches, one ahead of the back-to-back Tobago champs. The fans at the Signal Hill Grounds were sent in uproar as James opened his account in the 35th minute.  Scarborough tried desperately to even the scores, but were placed further in trouble when James added his second in the 73rd, sealing the win for the hosts. Roxborough registered their first triumph of the season, winning a high-scoring match at home to Bishop’s 6-3.
