Kiwis hit by rain again

VISAKHAPATNAM: Rain forced play to be abandoned without a ball being bowled on the second day of New Zealand’s three-day match against an Indian Board President’s XI yesterday. Poor weather in the eastern coastal city had restricted the first day’s play to 10.1 overs, the home side making 23 for no loss. New Zealand play another three-day match against an India “A” side before the two Tests in Ahmedabad (October 8-12) and Mohali (October 16-20) and a one-day tri-series also featuring Australia.
