Boy, 13, charged with buggering teenaged girl

A 13-year-old boy appeared in the Scarborough Magis-trates’ Court yesterday afternoon charged with raping and buggering a teenaged girl as well as maliciously wounding the victim. The incident reportedly occurred in a bushy area off Scarborough last Thursday. The lanky six-footer, whose appearance belies his age, was remanded in custody when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Annette McKenzie in the Scarborough First Court on three separate charges of rape, buggery, and malicious wounding. He was charged by Detective PC Wintley Kerr, of the Scarbor-ough CID and is to reappear in court next week.
