Motorcyclists spread ‘good news’
The Trinidad and Tobago Ezee-Riders Motorcycle Club started on a special ride on Friday 21 November, giving out flyers promoting the Newsday “Help a Family for Christmas” Charity Drive. The riders visited Gulf City Mall on day one. On the following day, they went to the Mid Centre Mall, Trincity Mall, West Mall and the Grand Bazaar.
On Sunday, the ride attracted about 50 riders. The ride started at La Romaine, stopped and distributed flyers in places such as Marabella, Curepe, Arima, Valencia, Sangre Grande, Mayaro, Rio Claro, Princes Town and ended up in San Fernando. Over 5,000 flyers advertising the Newsday Christmas Charity Drive were given out by the riders young and old alike. The handbills were sponsored by Texprint, and the initiative was supported by the San Juan Rotary Club. This year many families across the country will have some cheer in their lives.
