Teen slashed, robbed at Gulf City

A 16-YEAR-OLD girl was slashed on the neck and robbed of her mobile phone while liming at Gulf City Shopping Complex, on Saturday.

Abigail Mohammed of Pleasantville, told police around 6.10 pm she was sitting at the Food Court in the mall when a man placed a knife at her neck. The girl said the man then grabbed her cellular phone and slashed her across the neck with the knife before running away. Mohammed went to the San Fernando General Hospital where she was treated for superficial wounds and discharged. San Fernando CID officers are continuing investigations.
