Man held with guns, coke
A 53-year-old unemployed man is expected to appear before a Point Fortin Magistrate today charged with possession of arms and ammunition and trafficking cocaine.
According to police reports, around 10.45 am, on Saturday, Sgt Palloo, PCs Johnson, Francis, and Sween, were on enquires along London Street, Cap-de-ville, when they observed the suspect acting suspiciously at the side of the road. The officers searched the suspect and found a .38 Smith and Wesson, six rounds of ammunition and 11 grammes of cocaine in his possession. The man, of Buenos Ayres, was arrested and charged with the offences.
