Taiwan photo show in Trinidad
TRINIDADIANS will get the opportunity to learn about the history, culture, natural beauty and the overall development of Taiwan at a Photo-Exhibition scheduled to take place from January 27 to February 8 at the Natural Museum and Arts Gallery in Port-of-Spain.
The Exhibition which is entitled “The Many Splendors of Taiwan” is organised by Rose Foundation and will feature a collection of 112 colour photographs under six different topics namely: Witnessing Taiwan’s Development-Social Evolution; Cherishing the Earth’s Assets-Natural Scenery; Protecting Biodiversity — Wildlife Conservation; Cultural Heritage-Customs and Festivals; Embracing Diversity-Culture and the Arts as well as Equality for All-Concern for Human Rights.
The official launch of the event will take place at Museum and Art Gallery on January 27 from 6:30 pm. The Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) based in Grenada will officiate at the opening ceremony. The Exhibition will be opened to the pubic from January 28 to February 8 between the hours on 9 am to 5 pm. (Monday- Friday) and from 9 am to 1 pm. on Saturdays. The event which also highlights the way Taiwan has developed over the past 50 years was held in Grenada in October last year.
