Shot by men seeking drugs

A TABAQUITE man was shot in his leg Thursday after he was unable to assist three men in their search for drugs.

Samuel Ramjohn, 32, of Brother’s Road, Brickfield, is warded in stable condition at the San Fernando General Hospital.  Ramjohn was standing in his yard at around 4.30 pm when three men, whom he did not know, pulled up in a vehicle and asked him where they could find the drugs. When Ramjohn said he did not know about any drugs, one of the men pulled out a handgun and shot him. Ramjohn was struck in his right upper leg. PC Jilmet of the Tableland Police Station is continuing investigations.
