Body of schoolgirl found

Police yesterday found a decomposed body believed to be that of missing Bishop Anstey schoolgirl, Kamilah Townsend. The body was discovered in the Heights of Gunapo, Arima. It was fished out of a river. Last week, father of two, Trevor Townsend, with tears in his eyes, reddened from a lack of sleep appealed to his daughter, Kamilah Townsend, 16, to come home.

The distraught father said he promised there would  be no animosity and said that together with his wife Pamela, they would work out the problem. “All I want is my daughter, who I love very much, to return home safely. After that we will deal with whatever problem there could be,” Townsend promised. According to reports, Kamilah, a Form 5 student of Bishop Anstey High School in Port-of-Spain, left school around midday on Wednesday and has not been seen since. Reports indicate school friends saw her getting into a car, but no one has  heard from her.
