Acting Police Chief ‘concerned’

Following the confirmation that latest kidnap victim, Ashmead Baksh, was found dead, Acting Police Commissioner, Trevor Paul, yesterday said that he was extremely concerned with the growing number of murders. Contacted for comment, the acting Commissioner said while he was still awaiting details on the murdered son of UNC MP, Nizam Baksh, he is concerned with every murder and, as such, said that the Police Service will do its utmost to have the perpetrators brought to justice. In the meantime, however, he said he preferred to await the details of the investigations before commenting further.
