Robbery at doctor’s office
THREE bandits armed with guns and cutlasses stormed into the office of a Montrose doctor yesterday, and robbed the receptionist and three patients who were waiting to be treated. Reports revealed that around 2.30 pm, one man armed with a gun and two others with cutlasses entered the office of Dr Michael Perris at Montose and announced a robbery. They robbed the receptionist Shalisha Hosein, 18, of a silver band. Three patients who who waiting to be treated by Dr Perris were robbed of cash, jewelry and valuables valued at $2,000. Ag Sgt Ajith Persad, Cpl Baljit Salick and PC Kirk Sheppard of the Chaguanas CID visited the scene and carried out inquiries.
