Man dies after drinking poison

A 33-year-old labourer died after drinking a poisonous liquid on the Corpus Christi holiday. According to police reports, Bobby Ramdeen returned to his Tarouba home highly intoxicated around 8.30 pm on Thursday. Ramdeen and his sister had an argument about his drinking habit and less than an hour later, his brother found him frothing and rushed him to the hospital. An autopsy was expected to be performed yesterday. Marabella police are continuing investigations.
