Tobago cop on murder charge

A police constable attached to the Tobago Division was pointed out during an ID parade held yesterday at police headquarters, after extensive investigations by Sgt Johnny Abraham. Thirty-year-old Garth Mejias was arrested in Tobago and taken to Homicide Office in Port-of-Spain where he was quizzed in connection with the murder of Atiba Johnson. DPP Geoffrey Henderson gave instructions to lay a charge of murder against PC Mejias late yesterday evening.
