Foul play ruled out in elderly woman’s death

FOUL play has been officially ruled out in the death of an elderly woman, whose decomposing corpse was discovered in a bathroom at her Marabella home on Monday. An autopsy, carried out yesterday on the body of 74-year-old Baby Maharaj revealed she had died from a heart attack. Maharaj’s decomposing body was found lying in the bathroom at around 4.45 pm on Monday, after a foul stench was found to be emanating from the house. The elderly woman lived alone and was last seen alive on Saturday. Marabella police are continuing investigations.
