Thrifty students get incentives

PRIMARY schools students in South Trinidad have embarked on a thrift programme. Two of them were recently rewarded for saving with Eastern Credit Union. They are Rochelle Rahim of Vistabella Presbyterian School and Jermal Callender of VOS Government Primary School.

Several students won prizes for saving the most shares during the month of June and others were given incentives for demonstrating consistent saving patterns. ECU’s Marketing Officer in the south met with several school officials to distribute the prizes. The savings thrust is usually facilitated by the Marketing Department of the ECU which has a vibrant Outreach programme.
