Two to be charged for missing Galil rifle

TWO soldiers are soon to be charged for the Galil rifle that went missing recently from Camp Ogden and was found later in D’Abadie. According to senior Regiment sources, “investigations are still going on and we expect to lay charges soon. “Two persons have so far been identified, and following our investigations, charges will be laid. “The media will be informed soon of all developments.” The senior officer refused to say what rank the officers hold, and if the police would lay any charges. Meanwhile, Chief of Defence Staff, Brigadier Ancil Antoine has received a report from the probe into the larceny of the rifle from Camp Ogden. Three other soldiers, meanwhile, remain in isolation since the discovery of the missing weapon. They were interrogated for several hours yesterday.
