Exec found dead at Chaguanas home

The decomposed body of the managing director of Citizens Insurance Company was found at his Orchard Gardens home in Chaguanas early yesterday. Reports revealed that Michael Ramdial, 58, was last seen alive on Saturday by his neighbour Glen Chaddy. Chaddy was alerted to a foul stench emanating from Ramdial’s home around 7 am yesterday.

Officers of the Chaguanas Police Station were alerted, and a party of officers led by acting Sgt Ajith Persad and including Cpl Hamid and PCs Sheppard, King and Joseph went to the scene along with District Medical Officer Dr Geelal. The body was found in a front bedroom in the house. The house did not appear to be ransacked and there were no signs of violence on the body, which was ordered removed to the Forensic Sciences Centre by the DMO.
