Ramdial was underwriting manager — not managing director

Michael Ramdial, 58, whose decomposed body was found at his Orchard Garden home in Chaguanas early Wednesday was not the managing director of Citizen Insurance, but the underwriting manager. The company — Citizen Insurance Company Limited — explained in a release yesterday that Ramdial was the underwriting manager, not managing director as was stated in a Newsday report yesterday. The error is regretted.
