Teenage girls held with gun and ammo
THREE teenage girls were among 16 people arrested in a sting operation by policemen of the Special Task Force. The Princes Town exercise, Friday afternoon, netted 25 rounds of ammunition and a home-made shotgun when a police party swooped down on a house in the vicinity of the Yolande Pompey Recreation Ground, a police report said. According to the report, the party, headed by Ag Insp Errol Ramdath and Cpl Leon Haynes, seized the gun, ammunition and a quantity of compressed marijuana. Ages of the persons arrested were between 16 and 20 years.
