Taxi driver shot and robbed

An Enterprise taxi driver was shot in both legs and robbed of a gold chain and his taxi Thursday night. Reports revealed that around 11 pm, Delano Sealey was plying his taxi from Curepe to Chaguanas, when, on reaching Montrose, he was held up by two male passengers who robbed him of a gold chain valued $3,000. The bandits then robbed him of his car valued $50,000, and shot him in both legs. He was treated at the Chaguanas Health Centre and then transferred to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital. Officers of the Chaguanas CID are investigating.
