Cop’s car stolen with kit

BELMONT police are now feverishly looking for a car owned by a police officer  stolen at the Summerfest 2004 concert held on Saturday at the Queen’s Park Savannah. It contained a full police kit including a bullet-proof vest. According to reports, the highway patrol officer was on guard duty at the show. He parked his purple-coloured 323 F motorcar PBG 5940 on the southern side of the grand stand and returned later after the show to find it missing. Cpl Harford Belmont police station is investigating.
