Man killed on highway

An unidentified man was killed while crossing the Churchill Roosevelt Highway in the vicinity of Beaulieu Avenue, Trincity, on Saturday. Reports revealed that around 6.58 pm on Saturday, the man was crossing the westbound lane of the highway, when he was struck by a red Toyota Yaris. He died on the spot. The man was of mixed descent and was believed to be in his early 40s. He was wearing green coloured jeans, a multi-coloured jersey, and a pair of dark brown slippers.
