BWIA unaware of terror photo

The photo of an exploding BWIA aircraft which appeared on a terrorist affiliated website in late August was not authorised by the airline. Corporate communications officer for BWIA, Dionne Ligoure, yesterday said that the airline was unaware of the photo on the website but if any similar situation was to arise in the future the airline would do all in its power to have it removed immediately. The image of an exploding BWIA Lockheed L-1011 aircraft appeared on the website on August 25. However the website has since been shut down.
