Students recognised for outstanding work

Complete Technology Solu-tions (cts) yesterday rewarded some of its top students at its office yesterday. The ceremony was held to reward 27 students on their outstanding accomplishments in the tertiary level courses being offered at cts. The courses include the Institute for the Management of Information Systems, the Association of Business Executives, and the Association of Computer Professionals, which are accredited by foreign universities.

Some of the top students copping the awards were Konata Bandele who won four awards for the highest grades in Economics, Organisational Business, Accounting and Business Communication at Diploma I level. Vanessa Ragbirsingh received two awards for Computer Fundamentals and Applied Programming at Certificate level. Earl Pierre also won two awards for Computer Programming and Operating also at Certificate level. Another outstanding student was Sishmani Rajkumar who was the overall winner in Information Systems Principles and Networking and Information Systems Manage-ment.

A small gathering lauded the awardees for their outstanding academic achievements, and student and teacher testimonials acknowledged the great efforts being made by CTS to make academics as simple as possible. CTS directors Nigel Polar and Ravi Ragoonath said that while the institute offers CXC and GCE level courses as well as computer training courses, its main thrust remains tertiary education.
