Cops seize Glok pistol, ammo and stolen electronics

A quantity of stolen electronic items was recovered by Police, following the arrest of four men and the seizure of a Glok Pistol. Reports revealed that around 9 pm on Sunday, officers from the Port-of-Spain CID under Snr Supt Errol Denoon and including Inspector Gay, Sgt Williams, Cpl Hoyte and PC Reid were on patrol in Woodbrook, when they saw four men aged between 18 and 19 acting in a suspicious manner. The men were searched and a Glok pistol with ten rounds of ammunition was found on one of the men. Police believe that the gun was used in several robberies. The Tunapuna homes of the four men were searched and a quantity of electronic items was recovered. They included television sets, DVDs, and other electronics. The recovered items are now at the Port-of-Spain CID and police officers are calling on members of the public who lost electronics to go to the CID in a bid to identify them. The four suspects were placed on an identification parade for a series of offences.
