Sherry-Ann weds soulmate at sea

HOW did Sherry-Ann Ming know that her beau of six months was the one, her soul-mate? She told People that when it came to matters of the heart “you just know.” Sherry-Ann married Italian Nicola Serra on September 4 aboard the “Treasure Queen.” It was a splendid affair as Sherry-Ann never imagined that her entire wedding would take place on the sea. “Actually, we wanted something by the sea, like at the beach but that was a bit difficult to do and then my mom knew someone who put us on to the “Treasure Queen.” I had no idea that we would have both the civil ceremony and the reception there,” said Sherry-Ann.

Of course, the evening came off without a hitch. Sherry-Ann recently returned from Italy where she studied artistry, painting, photography, design and mass media at the Fine Arts Academy in Bologna. She is also a past-student of John Donaldson Technical Institute. It was during her two-year stay at the Academy, that she met Nicola, a Bologna native. “I met him through a friend of one of my flat mates,” she revealed. In no time the two hit it off and soon after, Nicola popped the question, in Italian. Among the striking qualities which her husband possesses, the Trincity bride added: “He’s not afraid of trying anything and he’s not afraid of showing how he feels.”
