Pastor held by Fraud Squad
A pastor was detained yesterday by members of the Port-of-Spain Fraud Squad and is now being held following a search of his home in Central Trinidad. According to reports, police obtained a warrant yesterday to search the pastor’s premises. It was not determined if the police seized any documents.
The raid on the pastor’s home followed a report made by the executive of a company that the pastor owed millions of dollars. Newsday learnt that the police will consult with the Director of Public Prosecutions to-day to determine what charges to lay against the pastor. Investigations are continuing.
