Another shooting in police headquarters

Another homicide officer is now under probe for the accidental discharge of one round of ammunition in the lobby of the Police Administration Building. Reports revealed that around 10.15 am on Wednesday, a police sergeant  left his 9 mm gun in the lobby and went about his business. He returned about 15 minutes later and took possession of the gun. Reports revealed that the officer was checking the gun when it was accidentally discharged. The bullet struck a bucket in the lobby area. Police officers in the lobby were shaken up over the incident. A report was made to senior officers of the Port-of-Spain Division and ASP Fergurson is investigating.
