Dookeran goes to NY
Friends of UNC New York has invited UNC political leader Winston Dookeran to meet with the Trinidad and Tobago community and supporters in New York to discuss his plans for moving TT forward. Dookeran is expected to address a university audience on "Politics and Economics in Trinidad and Tobago" during his four-day visit to New York. Dookeran is also expected to address the specific concerns of the Trinidad and Tobago community in the United States. The public is invited to meet him at 6.30 pm at Tropical Gardens, 120-05 Atlantic Avenue in Richmond Hill, Queens. According to chairman of Friends of UNC New York, Jay Rakhar, a full schedule has been planned for Dookeran, who will meet with community leaders, New York politicians and the business community. Dookeran will visit New York over the period December 2 to December 5.
