Shot in the buttocks

A Laventille man was shot in the buttocks by bandits yesterday while liming with friends at Quarry Street. According to reports, at about 11:30 am, the man and his friends were sitting at Quarry Street, when they were approached by two masked gunmen. The man got up and ran and was shot in the buttocks by the gunmen.  He immediately fell to the ground.  He was rushed to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital, where he was warded and listed in satisfactory condition. Besson Street Police are continuing inquiries.
