powergen installs 211MW of power

The project involves the installation of two Siemens Westinghouse 501D5A simple cycle gas turbines. The construction activities are expected to be in progress for thirteen months.

Garth Chatoor, Chief Executive Officer at PowerGen said: “This is the first power generation expansion project since its formation. We are committed to our nation’s long term economic development.” Chatoor will deliver a welcome address at the ceremony.
