In response, PYO reached 113 for nine with T Persad notching 40 and R Rampersad an unbeaten 23, while Chander copped three for 18 for Triumph.

In another contest, PYO whipped Dinsley by 63 runs.

R Mahabir lashed 66 and P Singh 43 not out as PYO posted 155 for five, with K Kassie claiming four for ten. Mahabir later took two for 17 and K Ninah grabbed three for 25 as Dinsley were bundled out for 92, despite a knock of 15 by K Maharaj.

Meanwhile, the Sonny Rampersad Evening Competition will take place today and tomorrow with matches carded for 4.15 pm.

PYO will oppose Dinsley, Triumph will square off against Veterans of Moosai and Squadron will meet Moosai Sports.
