Persad hits 232 in Exchange win

The prolific right-hand batsman smashed 20 sixes and 17 fours in his 232 for Exchange to declare on 302 without loss.

Persad recently blasted another century — 180, this time against Sheffield United.

He capped a grand allround performance taking six wickets for 26 in the Conquerors first innings of 95, and returning to take two for 16 in the second for a match haul eight for 42.

Conquerors fared little better in their second knock in last weekend’s match bowled out for 119 to be beaten by an innings and 18 runs.

Victory gave Exchange 28 points for a total of 57 and play Brickfield next on Saturday on their Exchange home ground.
