Ballantyne wins Shouter Baptist 15k

Also included in the programme was a 5k road race.

The 15k race started at 6.30 am outside the Arima Velodrome on the Eastern Main Road last Sunday.

The 5k began at the Maloney Indoor Facility. Both races ended at the Shouter Baptist compound on the Churchill-Roose-velt Highway, Maloney.

This event was sponsored by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, and the race was managed by a team led by Kelly Kerr.

At the end of the race trophies and medals were awarded to the competitors in the different categories.

A cash prize distribution took place on Tuesday at the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Abercromby Street, Port-of-Spain
