Earlier, Tunapuna Titans edged league champs Fyzabad Ball Playaz in a penalty shoot-out; Civic Centre whipped Moruga 1-0; RSSR FA stopped CZU 1-0; and Cruz International beat Joe Public on penalties.
In the semi-finals, Civic Centre stopped Titans 1-0 and Cruz International shut out RSSR 3-0.
At the prize distribution ceremony Civic Centre also took the march past trophy donated by Unique Sports & Books with Joe Public runners-up and Fyzo, third. For winning the league title, Fyzo collected $2,000 while runners-up Phase IV Nationals got $1,500.
Third-placed Cap Off Youths got $1,000 and CZU got the $500 fourth prize. Marcus Emmanuel (Moruga) and Kern Robinson (Fyzabad) with five goals each and Keon Paul (Cap Off) who scored four, each received a tote bag from C&C Traders and a football from the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation.
Robinson was named Most Valuable Player of the league and got the Ramsingh Sports Trophy, while Most disciplined team Moruga got a trophy from C&C Traders.
Before the start of the knockout tournament, Waterloo Institute of Soccer edged Belmont Youths 3-2 in a friendly.
