Nelsons celebrate 41 years as pastors
This evening a celebratory service will be held at the Cascadia Hotel Ball Room in St Ann’s from 6 pm in honour of the pastors.
World renowned evangelist, teacher and motivational speaker Dr Myles Munroe of the Bahamas Faith Ministries International, will be the feature speaker at the function.
Heading the list of specially invited guests is President George Maxwell Richards. Prime Minister Patrick Manning and Mayor Murchison Brown have also been invited to attend.
In addition to their pastoral duties at the Gallus Street Church, the Nelsons have travelled extensively taking their unique perspectives and insight of the gospel of Jesus Christ and his church, across international borders.
Apostle Turnel and Joycelyn Nelson have given yeoman service and exemplary ministry not just at their home church, but through churches across Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean, USA, Canada, South America, Africa, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
The week of celebrations will end Sunday with a joint worship service at 8 am. Dr Munroe will address the congregation.
