Soldier gets bail on arms charge

Making his second appearance before Magistrate Avason Quinlan at the city’s Fourth Court, Private Miles Henry is charged with the illegal possession of a firearm and 35 rounds of ammunition.

The charges were laid on March 29 at Paul Street, East Dry River, Port-of-Spain, by PC Johnson of the Inter-Agency Task Force. Henry was represented by attorney Mailard Howard and will reappear in court on April 13.
