Time to rescue our sister isle
Believe it or not, if someone was to accidentally stump his big toe in the vicinity of Crown Point, rest assured within an hour or so, villagers in Charlieville will learn of the accident and the name of the injured.
To enforce this writer’s point, like Trinidad, Tobago is an even smaller dot on the world map where everyone knows everyone and everyone’s business — well almost! Surely then, obtaining sound reliable ground intelligence regarding crime, just who are the perpetrators and the hot spots ought not to pose a problem for concerned citizens to appraise the relevant police authorities in the hope that they take the necessary action? Is it that certain weak and vulnerable Tobagonians are lured into a life of crime by their “hardened” Tring peers?
Maybe, maybe not! In any event, it’s time to start “blowing the whistle” Mr and Mrs Tobagonian in an all out effort to rid this wonderful piece of real estate of all evil.
