Mafeking rout Tablelandfor 32

Playing at Mayaro, Tableland batted first and scored 32 all out with pacers Prahalad Ramhit taking three for 11 and Satish Ramkissoon, five for 12. In reply, Mefeking made 208 for seven declared with Ryan Balroop scoring 64.

Batting a second time Tableland were hustled out for 129 with Balroop claiming grabbed seven for 45. Biche Sports continued their impressive form with a crushing six-wicket victory over St Mary’s Superstars. Ricarldo Hernandez, a player who has made runs all season was again the man to come to the fore, as he guided his team to a tricky victory target of 158.

Batting first St Mary’s made 185 all out with 82 from Inshan Ali. Biche replied with an identical score thanks to 40 from Hernandez.

St Mary’s then declared their second innings at 157 for nine, setting Biche a winning target of 158, which they got for the loss of four wickets. Hernandez was there at the end with an unbeaten 41.

In Division Three, a brilliant century by Darren Seurattan enabled SKG Sports to record a massive 140-run victory over St. Julien, despite a excellent nine-wicket haul by Zahid Bassarath.

Batting first SKG was routed for 114 by Bassarath who grabbed nine for 36 bowling with great pace and control.

St Julien they replied with 222 — taking a first innings lead of 92 runs. However, brothers Darren and Dylan Seurattan had other ideas and took their team to 357 for seven declared.

Darren posted an unbeaten 108, while Dyland supported with 47. Set a victory target of 266 runs, St Julien fell for 129 in their second innings with Marcel Ramjohn taking five for 20.
