UWI poll results next Tuesday

A representative from UWI’s Marketing Department said the results could not be officially released since the counting of the ballots was yet to be completed. However, the representative said that by Tuesday there should be a winner. The voting which was said to have gotten off to a slow start on the day, picked up by late afternoon, with only minor problems at the School of Education, which had to be closed and the ballot box relocated.

The three nominees contesting the Guild presidency post from outgoing president Fallon Lutchmansingh are Rodney Jaglal of Team UWI, Calixte George Jr of Progress UWI and Sandy Lutchmansingh.
