Early defaults strike in netball

Two matches, one in the Barbara Chandleur “B1” Division and another in the Barbara Burnette “B2” Division, first for the new season, were defaulted.

Arima Ball Masters won by default over Defence Force in the “B1” Division and Harlem got the points when Sparkles Defaulted their “B2” Division clash.

In “B1” Division action on Monday, Netaces whipped Chips 24-7 with Milena Simons netted 15 goals from her 17 attempts and Michelle Callender had nine of 13.

Ria Roach led Chips with five goals from eight attempts and Chrissandra Murrell had two from seven.

Harlem beat Horizon 17-13 in an exciting match in the same division, with Jillisa Allan scoring 12 of her 14 attempts and Kefia Baptiste five of nine. Anescia De Peza scored seven of 14 and Jodee Thomas six of seven for Horizon.

In the “B2” Division, Trenscend pitched a shutout, overwhleming CS Jets 26-0 with Nylah Coltes scoring 23 of 26 attempts and Danelle Rollins getting three of eight.
