Stevie Wonder now booked for Jazz Festival

Roy Maharaj of CL Communications yesterday told Newsday, the official newspaper for the festival, that Wonder and Tucker will be appearing on Saturday night, April 22.

He said Wonder who performed last year confirmed that he would be willing to return to Tobago, if only because of the hospitable and wonderful atmosphere and people.

Already scheduled to perform on Saturday night are Patti LaBelle, Natalie Cole, Toni Braxton, Johnny Gill and Destra with Atlantik. That show starts at 5 pm.

On Friday Diddy, Dough E Fresh, Roy Cape, Rose, Maximus Dan and Shurwayne Winchester and Traffik will perform from 7 pm and on Sunday, Sting, Vanessa Williams, Barrington Levy, Najee, Machel Montano and H20 Phlo will perform.
