School porn incident:

MARABELLA police yesterday obtained a statement from a secondary schoolteacher in connection with the assault of a student.

Marabella police launched an investigation into the assault when a schoolboy filed a report at the station that he was assaulted after he reported to the school’s principal that he had seen a teacher showing pictures of naked women to some female students at the school last week Friday.

Police investigators told Newsday that they were probing both the assault and the pornography aspect of the incident.

The Sexual Offences Act prohibits a person from exposing lewd material to persons under the age of 16.
