Caldrac cop Ramsingh’s 30-overs

They recently emerged champions of the 30-over Ramsingh-sponsored competition over the weekend.

In the final played at Gilbert Park, California, Caldrac convincingly defeated Lange Park Sports by 92 runs to establish their superiority among the other teams.

Batting first Caldrac made 197 in 29.5 overs with solid scores coming from Anthony Ragoo (65), and Azard Mohammed (50).

Best bowlers for Lange Park were Deochan Lall (three for 35) and Mavin Edwards (two for 38).

In reply Lange Park were skittled out for 105, with only Deochan Lall (30) and Ian Ramjattan (20) offering some resistance.

Nigel Ali did the damage for Caldrac claiming four for 32, and Azard Mohammed, two for 31.
