Praise from PM Manning

PRIME MINISTER Patrick Manning yesterday praised the “determination, grit and passion” of the TT Soca Warriors who played with a “depleted” team.

In his message following the TT’s 0-0 draw with Sweden, Manning said, “overall it was a dream start for our team who displayed extraordinary courage against all odds.” He thanked Almighty God that the team ended the game without any injury.

Manning said the Soca Warriors earned the respect of the whole world and have been able once again to get the support of all nationals at home and abroad.
