34 schoolboys, girls for Students Games

This year’s championships will be contested between students under-nine to under-15 in St Lucia from July 19-24.

Trinidad and Tobago will be led by perennial girls champion Michelle Lee Ahyee, and the team includes other top runners in Kernisha Spann, Isiah Taylor, Kernisha Serapio and Deandra Daniel.

Trinidad and Tobago who won the title in 1998, 2000, and 2002, named their squad after trials under the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers’ Association and performances at the National Primary and Secondary Schools Games along with the Juvenile Championships held between last year and this season.

A total of 15 countries are expected to challenge for honours — Jamaica, Barbados, Bahamas, Martinique, St Vincent and St Lucia.

UNDER-9 — Kernisha Serapio, Michada Neils, Akida Briggs, Shanice Charles, Dillon Bernard, Zidane Stewart, Terry Frederick, Dickson Williams.

UNDER-11 — Shemiah Clarke, Aisha Forde, Shelly Ann Moses, Shantel Gordon, Corey Stewart, Corey dennie, Che Ti Shawn richards, Kazim Charles.

UNDER-13 — Kernisha Spann, Shanice Rochford, Sharece Benskin, Sherise Bishop, Kuniba Stesart, Darvin Sandy, Akeel Edwards, Andwele Korede.
