Angel Of Music to fiddle in Oaks

This classy filly from the Grant Lourenco barn, winner of the Gleneagle Stakes for fillies over 1800 metres, went smoothly through a 400 metres gallop yesterday morning, returning in the excellent time of 25.34 seconds.

Since finishing fourth to Sara’s Music in the 1800 metres Bookmakers Association Guineas one month ago, Justice Wendell Kangaloo’s filly has been pointed for tomorrow’s race.

And Indian Izzi showed he will make them all go in the sub-feature O’Meara Stakes over 1100 metres with a sizzling 600 metres run, clocking an astounding 34.90 seconds.

Another to catch the eye yesterday morning was Suave Runner who is entered for the Allowance race over 1750 metres.

This American-bred gelding which is trained by ARC president Gerard Ferreira, returned a handy time of 39.25 seconds for his 600 metres gallop yesterday.
