Jason gets gold

Peru, who has been on the dean’s list throughout his studies at JWU, graduated with honours in February, achieving the status of “summa cum laude.”

He was also inducted into the “Silver Key Honour Society” and the “Golden Quill Honour Society,” being a recipient of both the silver and gold medals.

The Belmont Boy’s Secondary School graduated from the institution where he obtained six O’Level passes in 2002. With a strong desire to pursue studies in the area of culinary arts and management, Peru proceeded to the Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute where he successfully graduated in August 2004 with an Associate Science Degree in Culinary Management.

He is the son of Errol Peru of Sam Boucaud Gardens, Santa Cruz.
