Basketball Federation screens U-16 players

According to a press release issued by NBFTT president Earl John, qualification for zonal representation will be based on residence and age, and players born on or after January 1, 1990 “will be eligible to participate and must reside within the respective zones which they represent.”

Officials, who will need assistance in conducting sessions, must contact the NBFTT Technical Director at 646-1663 or 756-3135.

“Since match commissioners will be appointed to supervise the matches during the tournament, zonal officials are requested to submit to the NBFTT office the names and contact numbers of persons whom they recommend to serve in such a capacity,” John stated.
